Credit usage

Understand how credits are consumed across different actions and how to make the most of them.

Search Pro uses a flexible credit system to provide controlled access to company and contact data. Credits are consumed based on the type of action, allowing users to scale their usage according to their subscription plan.

How credits work

  • Each Search Pro subscription comes with a monthly allocation of credits, which vary depending on your plan.

  • Credits are used whenever you export company data or access detailed employee contact information.

  • Credits reset every month; any unused credits do not roll over to the next period.

  • You can always monitor your remaining credits directly in the header.

Types of credits

There are two different credit types.

1. Company exports

  • Exporting a company profile consumes 1 credit per company.

  • Company exports give you access to comprehensive company data, including industry, location, contact details (if available), and more.

2. Contact credits

  • Viewing employee information consumes 1 credit per up to 50 employees at once.

  • Discovering individual email addresses consumes 1 credit per successfully found email.

  • Employee/contact exports are free and do not consume additional credits.

Managing your credits

  • If you run out of credits before the end of your billing period, you can upgrade to a higher plan to get more company exports and contact credits.

  • Upgrades take effect immediately, and your billing will adjust proportionally.

  • Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.

Tips for efficient credit usage

  • Prioritize companies and contacts that are most relevant to your goals.

  • Use Lookalike Search to find similar companies before exporting, ensuring your credits are spent efficiently.

  • Regularly review your saved lists and remove duplicates to avoid unnecessary credit usage.
